Often times, the leg hair just isn't quite as long as the body and due to the bend of the knee, it is more difficult for the comb to grab the fur. I also find that using one size shorter (Oster 1 1/2" - Yellow) on her legs is easier. So you might try ordering a couple of attachment combs to see which one achieves the length you want. Overall, it leaves her body about 3" long. I used the longest comb (Oster 2" - Pink) on her body and one size shorter (Oster 1 1/2" - Yellow) on her legs. (See photo attached.) You can order them separately and not in the complete set. Since I like Molly a little longer (3" long or so), I ordered a couple of these combs to try them out. In the past few months, I noticed that Oster now sells longer attachment combs. Since the clippers were used in the same direction as the hair grows, the overall length was about 2" on her body.
